Gidday all,

Visiting Jandakot Airport just south from Perth, West Australia was this 1944 built Beechcraft D17 Staggerwing, registered NC16S c/n 6687, owned & piloted by Bill 'Biff' Charney.

Bill has recently taken delivery of this immaculant looking machine in New Zealand & is flying it back home to the USA albeit 'anti-clockwise' :-flying into the wind...crazy I know.

A journey taking up to two years to complete. The aircraft has a range of approx 1,300km, so there will be many stops on the way home.

Bill has a website: www.captainbiff.com (http://www.captainbiff.com) which is very interesting, & we wish him well is his journey home safe flying Bill.

Here's a few pictures taken today.
