If someone rings your doorbell and says they're checking on ticks because of all the wet weather we've been having, and they ask you to take off all your clothes and dance with your arms in the air-don't do it. This is a scam.

I wish I knew this yesterday. I feel so humiliated. :cry:

How do you know it's a scam? The guy who rang my bell had was wearing a stylish ski mask and carried a nice video camera, seemed legit to me.

I guess I'm going to make it more serious. If some one rings my door bell & I'm not expecting any one they are not going to be greeted in a friendly matter.(I live in NC)
