Great show, great footage, even a clip that showed the outside of my former office at one point and some at gate in LGA footage. Another intresting note. A friend of many at FRG Al Cirullo made a guest appearnce with his helicopter flying Sully down the route of 1549. :borat: :borat: :borat: Proud at least for that moment in time to have been an LGA based US employee.

Didn't know TLC was still in the business of documentaries. I figured all that reality and "lifestyle" show nonsense they decided to air last decade had finally pushed them off the brink. Is there any way I can watch this now that I missed it? Torrent, anyone?

Not a bad show, but I questioned Kolojdak's remark about runway 2 at LGA.

Picky picky
Great show with lots of cool aerial footage. I liked the way they incorporated the well-done animation with the real footage
from the helicopter. It was one of those shows that even though you knew the outcome you were still holding your breath.
Good job by the production team including Daniel Birman who wrote, produced and directed,
Sad shot at the end when Sully is walking alone alongside the remains of 1549 in the makeshift hangar. The musical score
made it even more melancholy.

If you look real close you will see me in the shot in the beginning when they are walking to the Press Conference and when they first walk into the plane and was behind the cameraman making sure he didn't bump into anyone when Loretta was waving everyone away.

Sorry for the short notice but if u have not seen this yet and did not tivo or DVR it you have another chance tonite. Encoure presentations on TLC Tonite Wed 1-13 from 2200-2300 and again 3 hours later from 0100 to 0200 Thursday morning 1-14.

For the record I liked it and thought it was pretty well done, I thought Harrison Ford added some class to it. There are some nice LGA shots mixed in with the interview with Sullys wife. I watched that being filmed, they used a helicopter with a camera attached to the bottom, and ATC was surprisingly co-operative and the light was great. They where flying up and down bravo about 20 feet off the ground. There was one shot where they where right behind a CHQ E-145 and they where litteraly hovering only a few feet behind him, we told the Captain not to make any sudden stops

They filmed a lot more than they used, would love to get a copy of the raw footage they shot that day.

Cheers
