TOKYO (AP) - Usually an airplane flight that lasts just over 26 seconds isn't the kind of thing you'd jump for joy about.

But when it's a paper airplane flight, it's reason to celebrate.

Japanese paper airplane expert Takuo Toda has set the latest world flight record for paper planes - with his 26.1 second endeavor.

But Toda isn't folding his tent just yet.

He plans to fold some paper into another craft that can reach the holy grail of paper flight - 30 seconds.

If I throw a paper airplane off of the Empire State Building, I think it would fly for longer than that.

I would agree but I think it has to be off the ground not off a building for it to count.
