:borat:

I think the new "light livery" looks way better on the 74 than on the 78.

I'm going against the grain and say that it's pretty ugly. I mean the tail isn't bad but the fuselage is very supermarket blue & white generic.

I agree, its very bland and says nothing. The Dreamliner colors are much nicer and sharp.

It's all about the Benjamins.

What does the band have to do with the color of the plane? ;)

Sorry fans but the livery is way to plain/simple for my taste. And call me old school but not a fan of the winglets either, like the tradditonal ones, the ones on 763 ROCK ! A lot of naysayers say no one flies a particuliar airline for it livery but since Boeing is in the Biz of trying to sell very expensive airplanes I would think you would want the most flattering livery possilbe to help sell your airplanes, the dreamliner livery IMO does that. This does NOT, 2 thumbs down !

My 2 cents

Cheers

This particular plane and 9 more will be delivered to Cargolux, so they will definitely stop at Kennedy at some point.

I'm surprised you guys care about the paint. The whole idea is that it emerged from the hangar in a presentable way and we have our first full look at a historic aircraft. I'm excited to see more angles. This photo is now my cell phone's wallpaper.

I don't care for the paint job either. My first reaction was that it is very similar to the A380 livery. My second reaction was, is this the best that Boeing could come up with? I mean, seriously...

Also, I'd like SOMEBODY to take a picture of this plane without using a wide angle lens!! Even on the Boeing site, it's tough to find semi-decent images of the jet that really show it well from different angles. All in due time, I guess.

I believe she's outside on the flight line now, so there should be more photo opportunities.

I think it's important that this livery be as neutral as possible. Even the dreamliner setup that's mostly blue isn't neutral enough.

They want people to see it and be able to imagine it in whatever livery they have in mind. If you're someone that flies mostly a mostly red fleet, it'd throw you seeing the first one out be in your competitors colorway.

Just my $.02
