Perhaps one of our "non technically challenged" posters can post the photo from pg. 3 of yesterdays Daily News.
It's an overhead shot of an AA MD-80 on final over the LIE. It's an awesome shot, even when viewing it as a black & white newspaper photo.

Just proofread my original post and it should say pg. 23. :( .
And no, it wasn't part of an article. it was just a half page photo, pretty sharp even for a newspaper.

I saw the photo article in question and it was infact very impressive. It was very Sam Chui'esqe . You could see the exhaust vapors etc in it. I forgot to tear it out but the photographer was listed as Getty Images. I half expected to see somthing like Derf listed as the photographer but no.
