since I recently left my job doing line service at Avantair at Essex Co. Airport I've finally had some time to do some flying....aaand photography. Enjoy!

Tom Fischer, our resident chief flight instructor who "landed" the cutlass 172RG in the mall parking lot....this one was published in the Leader Newspaper, my first published work.

Wow, great work!! Panel shooting is one of the more challenging kind of aviation shots to get right. You did a darn good job.

Impressive work! Been a LONG while (about 16 years) since I've seen CDW from that perspective. Grew up only 2 towns southeast of the field and took a few lessons there in HS...

what are the "glass" panels in the last shot? garmin or aspen avionics? we're looking into aspen PFD and MFDs for our bonanza.

its the garmin retrofit pseudo G1000...the garmin 600....ive flown with the aspen too but i prefer the 600 to it any day. the information it presents is extraordinary and it's exceptionally easy to learn from what i can tell.

Does Tom instruct at air fleet?

and, how does one go about getting a job at Avaintair? I think I applied on the wrong site last time I applied.

Tom is the chief flight instructor at Avantair. If you want a job in the FBO (I have no idea if they're hiring or not since I just resigned), the best thing to do is go to the FBO and pick up an application from either Bobby Cali (manager) or one of the customer service representatives. The address for Avantair, CDW is:

35 Wright Way
Fairfield, NJ
07004
