Good work Senga!

I guess we know what brought those Dutch fighter jets over the Atlantic and will take them back home.

Never seen that DC-10 before, rare catch Senga

I'm surprised Arrow doesn't normally go to JFK. Anyone have shots of the Arrow DC-8 or DC-10 at JFK/EWR in the current livery?

Thanks,
Phil,
Yes I knew about the arrival but TOTALLY forgot about it since they very second I heard about it a few weeks back. I should have wrote down the info to help remind me.

Matt,
I keep thinking it is a DC-8 as well. I thought I was the only one who was like that. I also keep calling it a DC-8.

Mayi757
I shot a DC_10 at EWR a few years back.

oh weird, I looked through your photos before and didn't see it

Where you able to catch the DC-8 at MIA?

I'm surprised how few Arrow Air photos there are at New York airports.

Awsome catch on the KC-10 Senga, I wish Arrow Air would have been a regular visitor at JFK.

I remember these being regular visitors in the early 80's

Mayi757,
Yes I shot the APW DC-8 in new colors at MIA a few times. By the time I left I saw them starting to break some up. I also shot the Fineair/Arrow Air hybrid at ORF and the regular livery at SWF.
The old colors of Arrow are my second most favorite livery that I have seen. I LOVE it especially on the L-1011.

Yea really. Not that we don't enjoy these pics but a heads up once in a while would be nice seeing some of these aircraft are extremely rare. I think there are some here that would like a chance to get them.

I know where you shot that Arrow DC-8 lol, perfect side on. Don't remember coming across any of those on your flickr or jetphotos albums but, maybe I was sleepy or something

What airport are those L1011s at?

sorry for the avalanche of curiosity, throw a tomato at me if I'm asking too many questions

Forecast looks crap around the weekend, hopefully I'll bring you better weather boyz and girls

Phil, Nick
I appreciate your comments.

Nice shot Tommy,
You mean you removed the blast barriers from hell. I see they are behind the plane. A man that can move Blast barriers is a god among men. I cant tell you how many shots I have of blast barriers blocking my shots from over the years. The fuel trucks that have recently been out and abound at airports are 10,000 feet long....They can block half a 747. My fuel truck collection is quite impressive.

Mayi757,
Yes I shot it from the overpass that runs along the the NE corner of MIA. I got a lot of great shots there.
About my flikr account. I haven't added most of my shots just a few of the older pix and several of the rare and VIP aircraft.
The "Big A" L-1011 was shot at KORD Chicago- Ohare in 2000/2001.
