I remember reading that it occurred at London City Airport. I think that plane still sits there.

The incident occurred in August 2007. The insurance company decided to repair it, and it was removed on a barge for repairs off-site a few weeks later.

Seems she's back in service, here's a photo from June 09.

Let's hope that we don't see BA's A318 doing that there...

I wonder if she was repainted into Star Alliance c/s strategically...

She was in Star Alliance livery at the time of the accident as well.

If the damage photos are any indication, it was painted in star Alliance colors when it happened.

The slow is helpful in seeing the aft strike, which I hadn't before noticed, as well as the aircraft being on both front and right main gear after the 3rd bounce. Lucky they didn't crash.

I dunno, it looks like the tail in the video is very red, not black. Unless I'm going insane...

I was confused about that at first, but it seems one side is painted in the airline colors, the other is the Star Alliance logo.

Ah, I get it. I thought maybe it was a shadow on the vertical stab after he landed.

On the barge to go get fixed, I assume they didn't partially paint it before the repair.

Looks like a carrier landing.
