Please join us in celebrating our grand re-opening of the new Nassau Flyers, now under new ownership on Saturday September 26th from 11 to 4pm . Come and see our new aircraft including our new Cessna 172 G-1000 , Also on the premises is the new 3D pilot shop which will be displaying the new Garmin 496 and 696 hand-held GPS with a demo of both of the amazing devices. We are now an authorized distributor of Bose headsets and we also carry a full line of DavidClark headsets. We will also be displaying the latest Mercedes and Porsche cars, some classic cars and WWII aircrafts. There will be a free BBQ and gifts and prizes will be raffled off. Aircraft rides will be available as part of our "Lets Go Flying" introducton to the joy of flying. Wow. I have not flown an NFI plane in almost 20 years! I got checked out there after getting my Pvt from Air East while I was at Dowling (this was like '89). I didn't fly there too long as I befriended a CFI who I went to Dowling with who talked me into flying at ISP with Mid Island where he worked.

Who are the new owners? I guess it was time for Phil to retire?

I see that you guys moved the office from the AAM hangar to what was the LI Airlines/Executive Airlines hangar years ago. I worked in that office for them in Ops in '93 and then moved to fly Twin Otters and Navajo's within about 6 months. I left in '95.

I should stop by to see what you've done with the old place! :D

Isnt that facility being demolished along with the AAM in the near future?

Stop by any time we have changed some things up a bit and got some new planes. if you want stop by this weekend i'll be working.
