Since Southwest started service at LGA I occasionally check Southwest.com to check status of their flights and for the most part I have been (no offense Alex) pretty unimpressed. I will use today as an example. Re the security incident at the Central Terminal I read about this unlucky WN passenger on their first LGA-MDW flight who was going to his sisters wedding at 1400 in Chicago. So the flight was I assumed delayed by hours. According to flightaware it operated about 3 hours 20 mins late so I guess he made the wedding. But on WN.com all it says it departed and arrived, and the scheduled times, you would never know by looking at their website the flight operated 3 hours 20 min late

Very weak IMO

None taken! I only am familiar from the internal operation when I used FLIFO as a CSA at STL.

If the plane left the gate, it left on time, regardless if it came back to the gate. www.southwest.com (http://www.southwest.com) will report this. However, it SHOULD have reported a late arrival, like flightaware.com did. So, using www.southwest.com (http://www.southwest.com) it left the gate on time, which it did and was reported. I think because of the return to the gate, it screwed up the flifo system and it read it as an on time arrival. Because usually flifo off southwest.com is sent DIRECTLY from HDQ at Dallas which is constantly updated every ten minutes on the dot.

An unusual event that possibly screwed up the flifo system today.
