I was at JFK yesterday, July 14 and saw the return of RAM flight 200 from Casablanca using a B744. I was pleasantly surprised to see the B744 which I thought had retired. The registration was CN-RGA. The flight had been using B763 service for years. It was strange to see a B744 replace a B763. I wish other airliners would follow suit.

I wonder if that's due to the 763 they bent a couple of months ago...

Last week, I saw that RAM B763 just off the Van Wyck while riding the bus into JFK. I wondered what it was doing in the hangar and now I know.

So you're saying you won't ask in 6 months from now why there's a RAM 763 parked at JFK? You're making progress, I'm pleased.

Hell! It was weird for me when RAM replaced their B742 with the B763.

That's a pretty cool looking 744 that they have. The 767 is boring and ugly (especially with the ripples), but it looks more classic and retro on the 744.

There's a Middle Eastern travel agent near my house that has a sweet RAM 757 poster in the window. I'd rather see that than the 76.

Agreed, most 767 paint schemes are not very attractive.

Im with you on that, I think the most beautiful schemes fit well on the 747s or even the 777s. But 747s are my first vote

I also agree. When 744 service is curtailed and is replaced with a B763, the existing logo seems less attractive. The majestic B744 is still to me "Queen of the Skies". Her distinctive shape can be seen 10 miles or more on approach without visual aids. Ex: Olympic, Alitalia, etc.

Thats what I say about the 777s. I think each 777 minus another 747. Its a bit sad for me, even though I love the 777. I still wish to see more and more 747 service.

Every afternoon I'm over by Roosevelt Field where you can see the 22L arrivals for miles out. Whenver I see a 747 in the distance, i have to wait and see just what airline it is, knowing that we will be seeing less and less of them. The 767s "bore" me

there are only a few airlines' 767s that I think look good. Thankfully, North American is one of them. :)

I concur. I think the 76 looks stubby in general, same problem as the A300/A310. The 764 is a little better.
