It's a Yemenia A310, and it's in the ocean. No word on survivors.

Reuters: Comoran police source says Airbus is believed to have went down in the sea. "We really have no sea rescue capabilities," he says.

Vice President of Comoros tells CNN that boats have reached the wreckage and there are "no signs of survivors." Three bodies have been recovered. RIP. :(

Also, number on board was raised to 158, 147 pax and 11 crew.

I am trying to find the flight number. I also read that they found a young survivor. Also, it seems that the tail # is 535.

Speedbird1, 535 is the Airbus CN, the tail number was 7O-ADJ.

Here is a detailed history of the actual aircraft.

Let me add my RIP to the victims and lets hope the young survivor, who is a 3 year old toddler survives their terrifying ordeal. Many of you may be to young to remember the NW MD80 crash on takeoff at DTW where the only survivor out of 150 something was a 4 year old child.

Gotham, what is your source, I had read they found his body, along with 92 others so far. Can't find he is alive anywhere?

Still a lot of conflicting and incomplete stories floating around...we'll see if it turns out to be true.

I was shooting in LHR on June 28th and I got 7O-ADJ as it approached 27L. What a coincident.

Reportedly weather was pretty bad at the time and I read that two years ago the European Union began investigating
Yemeni Air due to safety concerns.

Like Gotham Spotter said, Great/ Sad catch on one of its last flights. Perhaps this is the last known photo of the aircraft before the crash.

My condolence go out the the family members of those lost.

The fatal crash of a Yemeni Airbus jet into the Indian Ocean is heightening scrutiny of the safety standards of developing nations and their airlines.

The European Union said it will assess whether to add Yemen to a list of countries with unsafe airlines that includes Swaziland and Indonesia, following the accident yesterday involving a Yemenia Airways Inc. Airbus SAS A310 carrying 153 people. A teenage girl was the only survivor found in initial rescue operations.
