If you are interested in visiting inside military choppers, visit the Fleet Week ships berthed on the Hudson River this weekend. Aboard the USS Iwo Jima, there is an Osprey as well as Sikorsky CH-53, and a Harrier as well as others. Most of the aircraft can be boarded and photos are encouraged. There are other ships to tour also. The military personnel are most helpful and friendly. I went yesterday but huge crowds and long waits can be expected this weekend. If you go, try to arrive early. Admission is free and if you are lucky, you might catch military demonstarations over the Hudson.
