While I am proud of our Royal Navy only thing i dislike about them is their lack of air power.

In the 1970s before the old HMS Ark Royal was scrapped the Royal Navy had carriers almost as big as US carriers.

These carriers had F4 Phantoms and Buccaner fighters, but after the 1970s we got the smaller invincible class carriers with Sea Harriers. While they won the Falklands war they where never powerful enough to stop all threats so the RAF had to send a load of Tornados over to the Falklands.

If we had US style Nimitz class carriers with F14s then wow that would have been brilliant and we would have never needed the RAFs help.
