Starting April 20th Delta Air Lines will be introducing three of their six gates in concourse B at Terminal 4. Flights to LHR, LOS, NRT, VCE, ATH, EZE, and LAX will operate from Terminal 4. Delta will have a designated check in desk at Terminal 4 where one will be able to check in for ALL Delta flights at JFK.

How will this affect their operations in T2 and T3?

they have the far west wing gates, so its very easy for them to reach T4 from T3.

Also several planes are hardstand over at T4 during the day.

Delta ops have already started with departures to LAX leaving from T4.

When will Delta build their "Mega Terminal"? That is something that I have been wondering.

What mega terminal? Nothing has even been proposed. They are only doing a study so your years away from anything happening...at the least I'd say 6 years if not longer.

It seems Delta is already operating flights out of Terminal 4. There are a couple of flights to Los Angeles daily. I verified it on JFKIAT and the Delta website.

Good call. Looks like random ATL, MIA and LAX flights so far.
