TOKYO, Feb 20 (Reuters) - About 30 people were injured when a Northwest Airlines flight from Manila to Tokyo hit turbulence on Friday, a fire department official said.
Two people were seriously injured and about 30 slightly injured, the official said. There were no reports of deaths.
The Boeing 747-400 plane was carrying 408 passengers and 14 crew, a transport ministry official said.
Northwest Airlines, which merged last year with Delta Air Lines (DAL.N), was not immediately available for comment.
