Hi. According to the following report from the DOT, Bolivian airline Aerosur applied for the authorization to conduct a number of charter flights between Miami/New York and La Havana/Camaguey, Cuba:

The application was recently approved and first flights from Miami to Cuba took place late last week. It is worth noting the charterer is C&T Charters (specialist in Cuba charters).
If the original schedule is followed, first flights between JFK and HAV would start on Saturday, February 8th (please note the flights from Miami were delayed a week, I ignore if this might affect the start up date from JFK), while the JFK-CMW route would start by February 28th.
Nine round trips have been planned for the first route (JFK-HAV) leaving every other Saturday, from February 8th 'til May 31st. On the other hand, seven round trips are scheduled for JFK-CMW, every other Saturday from February 28th 'til May 23rd. Thus, you'd have a weekly Aerosur flight during 3 months.
And the interesting part: all flights to be operated in 135-pax Boeing 727... not many chances to see them in passenger services anymore!
I hope you find this useful, best regards.
P. S.- Please note additional details on the application came from airlineinfo.com.
