After driving past every day and seeing it get smaller and smaller, I finally went and took some photos. This could be tough for some to see.

Boy that is painful to watch Shea slowly decay. The second shot has a great contrast of the past and future.

Wow, John, I said almost the same exact thing when I was interviewed for that Concorde show. Kinda weird to hear you reverberate my analogy as it applies to real life.

"The House that Ruth Built" was gone in the 1970s... reduced to rubble. That Yankee Stadium that replaced it was exactly that.. a replacement.
