On December 17, 1903, man first slipped the surly bonds as two bicycle mechanics from Dayton, Ohio showed us that man could soar through the skies like the birds. It is incredible to think that in such a short span of history, we have gone from that first fledgling aircraft to supersonic jets, stealth aircraft, and massive airliners, large enough for that first flight to have been contained inside one of them. Thanks to the Wright Brothers, we have an incredible aviation industry that employs, entertains and educates so many of us.
