i'm trying to create a personal logo for myself, for use on business cards and letterheads etc. while i can take two pieces of paper and trace what i want onto a third i can't do it in PS. i know that working in PS was one of those "necessary skills for guys" don't ask me to do it, ask me to frame a house instead.
anyway, i want to use the shape of this logo:

and keeping the grey border on a blue background overlay my initials "M-C" in white in windows font "Garamond", bold, 72-pt. i'd also like to keep the 3-D look. anyone who knows me knows that this is way beyond my PS skills. can anyone help my poor soul?
