I was once again browsing Rand Peck's blog and came across a recent trip to Asia that he made.

Of particluar interest was a story about a home owner at Narita. Land ownership rights in Japan must be much stronger than here in the US. Apparently, one home owner refused to give up his land when the airport was being built. His house remains surrounded by the airport. In the following picture, his property is between the taxiways!

I wonder if he rents out to spotters ...

All you need is a nice cold drink, a chair and a good camera with a wide angle lens and you'd be set. lol

I was wondering the same thing. From the picture, it looks like there may possibly be a driveway that goes underground toward the bottom of the photo.

If you don't like the noise, don't buy a house near the airport! Oh wait... :D
