Hello all,

I know PVD isn't really in your neck of the woods (or worth rushing out to), but if anyone checks this site out lives in or will be in the area I will be spotting PVD this Thursday from 4 to 7-7:30ish.

Jeremy

That head-on shot looks great! Good work.

That UA bird is a mess, old nose cone, chipped new paint by the rear door. So sad, a once proud airline is reduced to that.

You should see the front end of the other side - chipped even worse...
It was a pretty mangy looking jet. It is a shame.

Your panning skills are most excellent! Nice job in low light.

Thanks for the props! :D
The panning in low light was a really nice challenge - I think I got maybe a half dozen departures and only 2 or 3 came out just right.

Can't really blame UA to much about that 737, as it will be retired later this year, IIRC.

if they are going to retire it, why'd they paint it in the first place? There are a bunch of 737's still in old colors. Guess it's just the madness still continuing that is Glenn Tilton.

Some of the UA 737's in the new colors where painted up two years ago when the industry was in a different place and UA was not forecasting parking their entire 737 fleet in late 2008.

I really like the shots, though the BBJ has to have the most un-imagitive BBJ scheme I think I have ever seen.

jerslice looking forward to many more shots from your lense.
