Yesterday I spent little over an hour at EWR. Below are results.

Not fair! I'm dying to get out to EWR, where do you go to get these incredible shots? I absolutely LOVE them!

Did security give you any problems? What lenses would you recommend here? AMAZING shots if I didn't already say so...and if I did, I can't say enough about them.

Yes where is this Obs. Deck ??? Secondly when did Westjet begin service at EWR ???

I can't help you on the Westjet question :)
Its not really observation deck. It is balcony at the end of terminal A. I didn't parade with my camera around the neck. Shoot and lay low :) I was there for about an hour without any problems.
That place is very tricky. You have to shoot inbetween gates, parked airplanes and AirTrain rail pillars.
For that spot 300mm is enough, for everything else is MasterCard.

I probably would get caught taking pictures from there.. Thats why I dont take too many chances at EWR.... Great shots though
