Great piece by security expert Bruce Schneier about why the public has been taught to fear photographers...even though none of the planners of any of the biggest terrorist attacks ever conducted any photographic reconnaissance while plotting them. Of all the major attacks and planned attacks in recent history...9/11, London bombings, Madrid bombings, Oklahoma City, Unabomber, Richard Reid, Lackawanna 6, JFK fuel farm bomb plotters, Fort Dix attack plotters...not a single photograph was shot by any of them during their planning.
