Obama has said on many occasions about speaking to your enemies, but, lately has been backpedaling.

Pelosi and Biden have condemned what Bush said as unbecoming of a president. Biden proceeded to exude class when he said "This is bull---t."

This is what Biden said:

“This is bull****. This is malarkey. This is outrageous. Outrageous for the president of the United States to go to a foreign country, sit in the Knesset…and make this kind of ridiculous statement,” Biden said angrily in a brief interview just off the Senate floor.

“He’s the guy who’s weakened us. He’s the guy that’s increased the number of terrorists in the world. His policies have produced this vulnerability the United States has. His intelligence community pointed that out not me. The NIE has pointed that out and what are you talking about, is he going to fire Condi Rice? Condi Rice has talked about the need to sit down. So his first two appeasers are Rice and Gates. I hope he comes home and does something.”

He quoted Gates saying Wednesday that we “need to figure out a way to develop some leverage and then sit down and talk with them.”

He has a point about Rice and Gates and the intelligence community. They have said the threat of terrorism has increased. Remember, Rice also appeased the North Koreans. So, Bush is a total hypocrite by calling out the Dems when he and his staff have done the exact same thing.

I here ya, & Cheney took a lot of heat for that  Just a slight difference, that was a one on one interaction that took place off camera.

Biden used those words during an interview, that went to press.

For his choice of words, hell know, he was wrong......http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v726/MidnightMike/Comments/stupid.gif

I was just commenting that at least Cheney kept his use of profanity out of the public arena, that is all......

To use profanity during an interview, what is he in hight school http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v726/MidnightMike/Comments/sarcasm.gifhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v726/MidnightMike/Comments/42ba9ffe.gif

When you're VP, everywhere you go is the public arena. You work for the public and you hold a public office. There's no privacy and he should know that. He should have been more careful with his words. He was either stupid or he didn't care. Personally, I think he just didn't care.

"Let us rid ourselves of the fiction that low oil prices are somehow good for the United States," argued Dick Cheney in 1986.
