All-premium transatlantic carrier Maxjet is to start services as a "luxury" charter service.
The grounded carrier is in the process of being acquired by NCA Sports Group, a leading one-stop travel service for university and professional sports programmes. "A closing will occur in the near future," says Maxjet.

It remains unclear how many Boeing 767-200ERs will be operated under the charter service operation. One aircraft has been repossessed by ILFC and is currently undergoing a C-check, while two ex-Air Mauritius aircraft have been sold to Air Italy.
