WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Two people aboard a small aircraft flying in from Chicago that crashed on landing at a suburban New York airport are being treated for their injuries.
The two were taken to Westchester Medical Center for treatment. An airport official says their injuries were minor.
The plane crashed shortly before midnight Sunday at Westchester County Airport, about 40 miles north of Manhattan.
Westchester County Police Department spokesman Kieran O'Leary says it appears that as the Cessna came in for a landing its wheels clipped some of the runway lights, causing it to flip over.
