A passenger on the United Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Chicago that made an emergency landing in Denver last week after hitting severe turbulence talked about the experience on Monday.
"The people who weren't buckled in, of course, they flew up and hit the ceiling," said Robinson. "The pillows and blankets and cups and ice, I mean it was just things flying. My first reaction was this plane can't hold together."
Eight passengers and two flight attendants were taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
