Saudi Prince Plans to Build 1-Mile Tall Building

We've discussed Prince al-Walid bin Talal around here on a number of occasions...his fleet of Kingdom Holdings jets (http://nycaviation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=11008&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=kingdom), his pillaging of Citigroup, his snickering at Ground Zero (and the subsequent rejection of his $10 million donation by Rudy Giuliani). Now he wants to build a tower reaching 1 mile into the sky in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. :roll:

One can only hope it collapses while the Prince is opening its doors. I can't wait for them to run out of oil and turn on each other...I'm so sick of reading this crap. The price of oil is over 100 dollars a barrel, ppl in this country can't afford to get to work because of the price of gas and this guy is building a 1 mile tall building for what? Its certainly not for progress....he must have a really small wang..
