Can anyone recommend a Good Lense for a Canon EOS Rebel 2000

Can anyone recommend a good 300MM for my Canon EOS Rebel 2000? I know I need to go digital, but I love this camera, and if I had the right lense it would be perfect....thanks

Any Canon EF lens should work (am I correct?)

So I would recommend the Canon 100-400 L

i got the rebel 2000 too and if you wat the best 300mm i would recomend the 300 f4 is or 300 f2.8 is. cant go wrong with either of those
