Today at MIA, I had a guy ask me if I was a member of any "spotting club" I mentioned NYCA and he wondered why there wasnt any for the south florida area. (Working on it) Anyways he then proceeds to ask about whats on this site, besides the forum which I mentioned. He asked about things like a publication/newsletter which really struck me. Thats an awsome idea A seasonal newsletter/magazine with a nice cover wrapping up all those front page editorials, with some nice shots and columns. I dont know if it's been tried before. But I'd be more than willing to help. I have some MS Publisher knowledge and could make a test version in .PDF form for everyone to download.

Thoughts? Comments? Ideas?

Actually, NYCAviation originally started as an online newsletter, then grew to the site.

In terms of an online newsletter, I think the site removes the need for that, as people can log in and have a look at everything they want, archived going far back in time.

As far as a printed, mailed newsletter goes, that is something that becomes very costly. Once we expand our advertising efforts, maybe we'll be able to set something up in the future.

I like your thinking, though. :)
