NASA Finally Releases Airline Safety Study

NASA released the long awaited results of their National Aviation Operational Monitoring Service (NAOMS) surveys Monday evening. The results were so shocking, NASA had planned to destroy them rather than share them with the public and risk injuring the already reeling airline industry. The agency capitulated to pressure from politicians, releasing a version with many details redacted and in a format that is difficult to decipher. It should also be noted they released the report on a holiday when very few people are watching or reading the news.
