Went to JFK for the day, but was 0/3 with the stuff I wanted to catch:

World Airways: Flight to BRU departure, arived too late.
Saudi Arabian: Thought it would push at 2, but it didnt. I checked again and i think it said ETD at 3:00. Left howards beach because i wanted to get PIA.
PIA: was said to come at 3:20, but then when i checked again, it said it was delayed untill 9. not sure if it ever came. Somehow I always miss this plane.

Anyway, here are the photos.

Then to Firestone:

Look at the area right after the main landing gear, does it look dented?

Matt nice shots. I always get excited to see the UAL 763 come into JFK, don't know why but I love that plane. Word is UAL will be moving back to T6 once B6 moves most of its ops to T5. As for PIA, god knows when she'll get back on schedule. The problems going on right now in Pakistan have greatly affected PIA's ops. They've had to cancel most of their flights because personal can't get to the airport.

Back to T6??? UAL never operated from T6. From at least the early 70's until the early 90's they operated from Terminal 9, which was shared with Braniff & in later years Northwest. In the early 90's they moved into BA's terminal using Gates 7-12, which unless I missed something they are still using today. Going to T6 would be a good move, getting out of BA's space, but again, without the widebodies of days past, you almost get the feel they will be going the way of Northwest; to Terminal 4 on a hardstand.

Thanks!
BTW, Why would United want to go to Terminal 6? Its old and crouded, and i dont think there is a lounge. I think they should be happy were they are, and if not, go to T4.
