Hi,

My name is Eddie, I'm a 16 year old high school student from Miami, FL. I stumbled apon these boards, and have to say that I am very impressed. I've been taking part in spotting for several years now. Unfortunatley, after the tragic events of 9/11, security has been stepped up down here, and any spotter is usually labeled as a terrorist by local authorities. If Miami had such an organization as you guys do here at NYC Aviation. I'm sure things would be different. Anyways, I hope to meet some people with common interests here, and just have a good time.

Welcome Eddie - as Adam would say - I'm one of the South Florida denizens here - live in West Palm Beach and work in Ft Lauderdale and spot at both with no hassles at all! Check around the board - there is an invasion of NYCA folk from the north happening in early December - spotting at both MIA and FLL on the weekend of 8/9 December...you might be able to get out and join them in MIA for sure!

I'll probably be going to NY, as I do every year around Dec. 27. So It'd be cool to meet up there aswell.
