Like others I try not to re-post things from A.net but this is rather interesting.
EgyptAir will replace its 5x 777-200ERs with 8x 777-300ERs starting in 2010. The 5x 777-200ERs will leave the fleet, but there has been no announcement where they will go. The 777-300ERs will be leased. Also, 3x A330-200s will join the fleet starting next year.
Reportedly, the current -200ERs have a 3-cabin configuration while the -300ERs will have a 2-cabin configuration, giving a capacity increase of 15-18% over the -200ER.
