Is there going to be a 737 or 717 used?
Which one is more likely?

Every other AirTran flight to SWF is on a 717-200 so I'd imagine the flight will also be on a 717-200. It'd be nice to see a 737-700 though.

Just in time for the snow-birds!

Sounds like it will be good service... Wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the service ended around April/May....

Could just be seasonal? I would assume so.

You must be happy for that in any regard. I'd also imagine they use the 717-200 since that's all they currently use at HPN and SWF.

I didn't think it was seasonal. Just like the article says.

Air Tran has a bit of a history of doing the seasonal kick with cities of htis size catagory though initally announced as seasonal. SRQ-LGA and SRQ-BOS are great examples of such. SRQ-LGA dissapeared all together and SRQ-BOS went to Saturday only service from November through January. It may be gone all together now though.
