Anyone know where the helipad was at the Meadowlands for the Live Earth concert yesterday? I believe there is one already there but not sure where. I caught two copter pilots talking tonite on an air-to-air freq about how Bon Jovi turned down a flight in "Tango Whiskey" which is Libertys Dauphin for a ride in "Mike Fox" which I'm not sure what type that is. I figured Al Gore flew up from DC in a ship.
Wonder how busy it was?
Thanks all.

Probably set up in a parking lot and used lights to make a helipad. The Meadowlands is giant.

Mike Fox is N638MF, ROP Aviation ( Ron Pearlman ) and the heliport is by the practice bubble...

Thanks.
Kinda ironic about the whole "lets conserve energy" thing and here they are flying around in jet helicopters.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Gerard, I was going to question that as well but kept my mouth shut...
Hypocritical at all? "Use less Fossil Fuels! Excuse me as I go take a private helicopter out of here!!!"

In the Daily News today they mentioned that Bon Jovi flew by helicopter to Ron Perlmans party in the Hamptons after his set.

That would explain why 638MF took a top off with prist saturday instead of their usual 15 per side ( for their short city hops)

It is an additive that normally is optional in jetfuel to be added, it is used to prevent cryastialzation in the high and colds.
