Can someone please advise me if they know in advance if an A330 will be coming to LAX? I'd really appreciate it since I'm here in L.A. for the next 2 months!! THANKS! :D

I heard that they were using A330s for military charters. I was shocked to hear that.

The DC-10 and 757-200 made up the main military charter network and now that the DC-10 has been retired the A330 has taken its place alongside the 757-200.

Actually it really is kind of old news is new news again. I've taken 330's into KWI as REACH flights and ATH for Olympic charters years ago. Prior to the 10's being phased out domestic wides were a common NW sight. MSP/DTW to PHX/LAX/SFO/SEA/MCO/HNL plus MSP-MKE/MEM/LAS/DTW/BOS as recent as late 2001 (post 9/11) and 2002.
