NEF to jpeg conversion in Photoshop CS2.

How does one do it??? Is there any additional software needed???

I believe you need to install Nikon Capture to convert them.

Capture is not needed. If you open the .nef in ACR and do what you have to do and then open it in PS do the rest of your editing then save as jpeg at highest quality.
