US Helicopter announces new scheduled service between Manhattan and East Hampton. Flights to East Hampton depart on Friday afternoons and return to Manhattan on Sunday evenings.
Service Commences June 29th and operates thru September 16
US Helicopter offers fast, luxurious transportation between Manhattan and East Hampton on state-of-the-art dual engine Sikorsky S76 helicopters operated by two pilots at all times. On board, you will enjoy a first class executive interior as you fly above the traffic.

Friday Service
Depart 2:30PM - East 34th St./Midtown Heliport to East Hampton Airport

Sunday Service
Depart 7:30PM - East Hampton Airport (Main Terminal) to West 30th Street Heliport

* Flights are available for one-way travel
(We return to West 30th St. Heliport as East 34th St. Heliport is closed on weekends)

Baggage
Due to limited baggage space on the helicopter, each passenger is allowed one checked bag in addition to one carry-on (briefcase, laptop or purse). Oversized luggage, such as golf bags, cannot be accepted unless an additional seat is purchased.

Still, it's better than chartering the S-76. A charter will probably run you about $4500...EACH way.

Great news, if only my driver knew how to find the heliport, he generally doesn't go west of 5th or east of Park lol.

Have you ever been out to the Hampton's during the summer? Westhampton Airport is packed with Biz jets. Fire Island's wealth can't compare as most of the homes are weekend to weekly rentals. While I think the price is sky high there is certainly a lucrative market for it.
