I was going through a closet tonight, and found two shopping bags full of little yellow Kodak slide boxes! In addition to the usual family and vacation stuff, I found lots of shots from various air shows at McGuire AFB in the late 70s and early 80s, AFROTC base visits, and such. It's going to take a while just to figure out what everything is, let alone scan stuff in, but here are a few I did a quick scan of tonight. These are from JFK, August 1980:

Pretty crappy shot, but it's a Pilgram Airlines Twin Otter, N128PM

And a couple more, just for fun. During my AFROTC days, I spent 3 weeks during the summer of 1982 at Holloman AFB on a "3rd Lt" training program, getting a chance to see life in the "Real Air Force". I have some cool shots from there (as I remember, haven't found all the little yellow boxes from Holloman) but here are a couple I scanned in.
My "lean, mean, fighting machine" days :D

Here I am (lower left) with some of the other guys in the program. For the most part, I haven't seen any of these guys since then (I ended up in pilot training with the guy on the lower right) but last week, I discovered the guy in the middle (with the goofy pose) on another message board, one for plastic model aircraft. I sent him this picture tonight, but haven't heard back from him yet. He flys F-22 these days.
