that CO 757 who's pilot died of a heart attack wasn't just landed by the FO. the man had some help:

That sucks, what did he do change the radio's? If I was the F/O I wouldn't have let him in, and If I was a passenger I definitely wouldn't have let him in! Actualy If I was a pax I would have wrestled him for that right seat!, Or would it be the left?

The F/O had to ask for assistance it said. Protocol or something. I have thought about this situation a bunch of times.

Sad story but best outcome possible given the circumstances, this guy has a hell of a story to tell but I am amazed the pax didn't panic a bit when the F/O made his request on the intercom (see below at 2:12)...

part of a pilot's training, civilian or military, general aviation or commercial is to not panic in emergency situations.
