Hey I am not complaining. Now we need a littlem ore moisture in the air. Maybe about ten degrees warmer than it was and you have the makings of fun weather.

9 degrees?!?!? HEAT WAVE!!!

At least when you've been in the ice ages the last few months...

Basically old man winter is paying you back for the indian summer just a few weeks ago!

I walked about 3/4 of a mile to the subway this morning (as I always do) in Brooklyn when it was 9 degrees. I bundled up and it wasn't that bad. Sure when the wind kicked up you felt it in your face and lower legs and toes, but aside from a little immediate numbness for a few minutes it wasn't bad.

God, thats true.

I used to have to commute on the "A" (or "C") line out to Rockaway many years ago..and when it hit around zero degrees the draw bridge would occasionally freeze up (while open).. then the train would be delayed for quite awhile - that was great.. outside in the wind - AND NO HEAT !!!! watching your breath while ON the train. Our friend Mike McLaughlin might have had this expereince as well.. I really don't miss that train line at all.
