Hi Guys,

Yesterday I spent 2 hours taking pictures at EWR. Aircraft that I was trying to get never showed up. (Read LOT 767 in Star Alliance colors).
Singapore A340-500 arrived after sunset, and Maleysian 777 did the same thing :(
Here is what I've got at EWR.

Sorry that you didn't catch the aircraft that you went there for :( Still, Nice shots!

It has been a long time since I've been to EWR. Where were those pictures taken from?

Hey, great shots, Rafal. Were they taken at the IKEA parking lot?

Hi Guys,

All shots were taken from inside of Terminal B. I never had a chance to shoot from IKEA parking lot, and I guess its not the best spot safetywise. I've heard man stories about police kicking out people from there.

Hi Rafal,

I also heared this storries about the cops in EWR. I come to NYC next week an plan to spot in EWR for an hour or so... (due to the cops situation) Is there a bar/cafe where you took these pix? And can I sit there, drink a cup of coffee and take pix from time to time?

Also, we might not want to publically discuss EWR spotting areas, you never know who could be watching...

Yeah Tommy's right, that jet comes in here majority of time that I'm at JFK. Hard to miss it, if you devote three days of stay here you'd probably nail it. I'm actually waiting to get a better shot of SP-LPF and some of the -200 oldies.

EWR is winglet paradise, darn it! That AA needs to come to JFK. Nice stuff the PrivatAir-- something I'm waiting to catch soon. As for the SAS why EWR, why?!

You guys (EWR and JFK) are all lucky, try DTW - Just NW traffic rolling in all day long with the occasional NK flight! ;)

You mean you want to catch this bird?

Got this one in late August 2006 at EWR.

The only bird from LOT's fleet that I'm missing is the Star Alliance one :(
This is one of the main goals that I have for 2007.

Rafal :)

Edit - by accident I picked picture from the sequence where you can see some blur from Alitalia's 777 APU blowing on LOT's nose. But you get my drift :)

That is a pretty cool scheme, I have always been a fan of the LOT scheme!

As mentioned Rafal if you want to see the Star Alliance bird get down to JFK and I guarantee you that you will see her within a few days.

Over the summer I always spotted on Sunday's and caught her everytime.

Nice shots by the way, I love how you can see the brake clouds!

So where is the best place around Costco to setup small camp? Since that Star Alliance bird started flying for LOT I was at JFK 6 times and 5 times at EWR.
When LOT realizes that I'm going to JFK or EWR they make u-turn over Atlantic ocean and fly back to Warsaw :)

Horrible record, you'll need to be at least above .500 with SP-LPE.

Get a yacht , and you know do your thing and be out. You could live off the fish market or haggle with the local fishermen for provisions. Option two- BK is right there just hop off and get a Double-Whopper(I heard that happened) and then when 4:00 p.m. comes be on the look out... She shall sail in...

LOL, no mockery intended.

Ya check her out, one good looking hybrid if you ask me:

I did have a brief encounter with SP-LPF, it was priceless...
