French ban on Red Bull (drink) upheld by European Court

Health concerns over the Red Bull energy drink were fuelled yesterday after Europe's highest court upheld a French ban on the product.

The fizzy drink has been linked to several deaths and some experts have criticised its high levels of caffeine and other stimulants

I'd say the number of people who die after drinking four glasses of French wine is probably quite a bit higher than those who drink four cans of Red Bull, yet wine is quite legal. By no means should anyone drink four cans of Red Bull, or even two, but banning it outright is foolish.

Well from a health and medical point of view, Redbull is often mixed with vodka and other alcohol here in the states. An energy drink like Redbull and alcohol don't mix well as far as the heart is concerned. Puts alot of strain on the ticker! I'll drink the wine over the Redbull vodka mix anyday.

Redbull and vodka is my Vegas drink, helps to get the party started! One of the problems with these drinks are they fatally help you discover you have a heart problem. Allot of these people who've died from herbal or liquid stimulants are found to have heart disease.
