After been trapped in the office all week, I needed to get out a little today. Took a ride out east and stopped at the Grumman Memorial Park in Calverton. In addition to the F-14 that's been up on the stand for a few years, they recently got an A-6, which is now on display:

My friend was an AE6B pilot and a carrier landing instructor. The AE6B is the 4 seater electronic countermeasure version. Such a nice bird!!

These things looks so awesome in flight, which is surprising considering how they look kinda ugly.

Some nice shots, Moose! The late rear sun shows a lot of the detail.

Nice pics Moose! I second Phil's comments on the rear sun view. Its nice to see the A6 area is now landscaped. Last time I was there it looked sad.
