The new Maxjet a/c N251MY flew a tech flight out of IAD today arrived at JFK around 12pm 22L.
By the time I saw it on the tracker I only had 25 mins to get to JFK. Didn't even have time to get to the mouns. By the time I got there it flew right past me 30 seconds later.
Route:
IAD..JERES.J211.LEONI..MIROY..MIDST..WEVEL..BUF.J1 6.FABEN..ALB..ENE.ENE4.JFK/0203

Of course AS ALWAYS, I was cursed with crappy weather again.

For a quick hybrid it does not look to bad. Not as good as the classy full scheme but still better than some liveries. BTW Senga I am pretty impressed you actually got to JFK in time to grab this.

Cheers

Nice shot....crappy looking bird.

But I won't be satisfied until the triumphant return of National DC-10s and TWA L1011's.

wow I actually saw this bird when it wore the Air Gabon colors. This oldie, 20 year old 767 has only flown for pretty exotic operators.

That's a nice shot, I think that light makes this plain and boring plane more interesting. Those are the basic c/s from when it was flying for Kam Air of Afghanistan.

here it is, looking much more elegant for Kuwait Airways back in the days..
