Hey all, I'm wondering if anyone is interested in spotting tomorrow? It would be cool if we would get a nice group going. The weather is suppose to be good as well.

Drop a line if you're planing anything.

Gordan watch out for BK, I love it but its really only good late in the day. Costco would be better earlier in the day.

Chances are if 22 is in use 13L is in use to. Eric and I elected to spot 13L at the cargo area vs the mounds, you might want to give it a try. The light from 1:30 to sundown was perfect and the variety was a bit more interesting then the Euro birds.

cargo plaza might be a good choice if its active. what is the number for JFK information? I'm also going to call Gordon (Iberia A340-600) and ask him where hes going, but we will most likely go to cargo plaza if active.

JFK ATIS number is 1-718-995-8188 and runway 22L is in use rightnow. Watch for this to also include 13L within the next hour.

just called ATIS and they said 22 and 13L. i will most likely head out to cargo plaza, unless there is no one there...

I got out to JFK around 12:50 today and headed over to the mounds but the light was not good so I shifted over to 13L when it became in use but shifted back to the mounds because Cargo Plaza was not very active. Spent the rest of the time at the mounds until around 5 when Matt and I headed over to Bayswater for some departure shots.

It was a pretty nice day out, sorry we didn't run into one else.

My pics should be up soon, I'll post them in a new thread.

I didn't go, I actually got up at around 9 (very unusual on a day off  ) thinking that I would be leaving at around 9:30-ish and I decided not to go. As the train/bus ride is long I didn't feel like going by myself. Also 13's were in use so I couldn't really get there.
