I was talking to Chris Burns today and Northwest's first 757 with winglets is out and in service. Not sure of the regi but you never know when she'll show up at LGA. NWA has Prat's vs. RR so its a double bonus.

I guess winglets are those things on the outermost portion of the wing huh, whats so special about em >??

They are retro-fitted, or added on, to them. 757s were not made with them, and visually, it's a sexy detail. Aerodynamically, they improve airflow over the wing, allowing for a more efficient flight.

Yes they are sexy (as far as airplane sexy) but I think when US does them this winter I think they will look very sexy ! I am hearing seven East aircraft for now, including the three newest ex ATA birds !

I personally love the afterburner at night of a F110-GE-100 but to each their own!
